Gothic Lolita Market: Livestream Shopping!
Select shop Flores Astorum will be facilitating an English language livestream shopping event with Connie as host on the Gothic Lolita Market Instagram for the upcoming Gothic Lolita Market Popup. They also will be taking shopping service requests during the market. This is a really rare opportunity to buy OOAK items directly from many Japanese indie brands which can be hard to order from overseas. I am not at all associated with this, I just think it’s super cool and I wanted to call attention to it.

Note: After I started this post, but before I published it, Ahn posted a series of comments on the Lolita Updates announcement for this event that had social media links for many of the brands, and I referenced that for some of the brands I had not yet finished writing up, so I just wanted to give credit for that! Whew! That was a lot of really interesting indie brands! I think it will be a super interesting livestream and I’m looking forward to tuning in to the first one tonight!
Additionally, if you missed out, select shop Flores Astorum and select shop Atelier Pierrot both carry a bunch of indie brands, including some of the brands above, and are a great option for the rest of the year. Flores Astorum also operates the Sunflower Seed Company shopping service which is another option if you want to buy from one of the indie brands not carried. I also use Chibi Tenshi and FromJapan as other shopping service options (I know different services are sometimes on holiday or overbooked so just throwing a few different options in the mix)
