Day Dream Carnival – Online Order Popularity
Sometimes, I get curious about what color/cut of a popular Angelic Pretty Release is most popular in Japan. (I also have an older post of pictures)
And so, I sit up (usually waiting for it to show up on the international site) and I track how fast different colors of each piece sell out in local time so I can plan my second and third choice for that release… or just for curiosities sake.
I’ve done that for Day Dream Carnival tonight. Please note that times are not exact to the second, and that they are all in Eastern Standard Time (East Coast USA). Under each time is the item that sold out at that time. Totally Out indicates that the item is now sold out in all colors.

It was pretty insane… I didn’t even see these on their international website until this morning. I kept refreshing the page but nothing Day Dream came up… 🙁
The reservations for the San Fran site was even crazier. EVERYTHING sold out in less than 5 minutes.
Yeah, it was a lot easier to get something from AP International than AP SF, once the items went up. I think part of the reason was that a lot of people gave up on AP International by the time it went up. I got lucky and was able to get a JSK from AP International (and a skirt from AP USA), but I missed the pony socks that matched Sugary Carnival on the international site because I went to bed at like 2AM the night they put them up, thinking they had stopped adding things for the night. *shrugs*
Thankfully, they will be doing a re-release of DDC, so a lot of people who missed it will be able to pick it up, I hope.
